But I was wrong – I'd presumed the first Will Grayson was written by John Green because that's the way he talks in his videos on YouTube. When I finished the book, I presumed well-spoken and capital-letter-using Will Grayson was written by John Green and the other, more depressed Will Grayson was written by David Levithan. Will Grayson, Will Grayson is written by two authors – John Green and David Levithan. But my love of John Green drew me towards it, and I'd left it untouched in my bag on holiday until I had no more books left to read. In fact, it is a book I never even expected to like. I did a few follow up posts when I got linked to more of Hank’s videos, they’re here and here, hopefully they clarify this a bit. Will Grayson, Will Grayson is a book I never expected to love. Though I might be projecting to some degree, because I find Hank incredibly cute and endearing.

I haven’t watched every single video they’ve made or kept up on all of their collective social media-ing, but that’s about as far as I know. He’s said that he struggled with his sexuality for a long time, and there have been several references to him wearing makeup when he was younger. I’m pretty sure there’s some implication that Hank is not a pure Kinsey 0. As cool as it would be if John or Hank Green were bi, I think in this case it’s just wishful thinking. Okay I’ve had a google and I don’t think John Green is bisexual, he has only ever described himself as an ally and the closest he and his brother hank have come to discussing bisexuality is in their coming out day videos (where Hank Green pulls a Macklemore by saying he thought he was gay because he liked ice skating to The Village People, but he wasn’t) and a video saying all giraffes are bisexual. Is there a source for this? Because this could be huge news. But more importantly John Green is bi/multisexual? I’ve heard nothing of this and I can’t find anything via google. I was actually poking fun at the pretentious “has anybody seen a boy kiss as girl on film before?” comment, which is still the most heteronormative comment of 2014. Like, I don't like him but something you posted seemed a bit like erasing his sexuality, idk
